A Worthy Investment

While the American host families invest their time, effort and love into the relationship with the exchange students, it is an investment worth making as the lifelong friendship will be priceless. The investment that exchange students and families make for this wonderful exchange is huge, but worthy as well.

Host families volunteer to provide students with a place to sleep, meals, transportation, and a loving supportive home life. The exchange students take care of all other expenses including round-trip airline tickets, complete medical insurance, school tuition & fees, and personal spending money for the duration of their stay in the United States. They show appreciation to the host family through KoAm Education Alliance with a monetary gift. In addition to the host family gift sent every two months, the student’s spending money will be sent to the host family. Host families can keep a brief bookkeeping record online. Any additional expenses that incur on behalf of the student will be reimbursed promptly, ensuring the financial obligation for the host family is minimal. Please call our main office for details at 1-800-521-6640.
